Training for schools and local authorities
Golden Daffodils offers a range of packages for local authorities and schools to suit the needs of teachers and trainers in all key stages. Our expertise is particularly focused on Key Stages 1 and 2, and transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3.
Golden Daffodils Courses
Steve and Catherine sometimes organise professional development courses at venues across the country. These are advertised on our training pages.
Support for primary schools
Catherine and Steve can provide bespoke training days for schools and school clusters. These focus on the Key Stage 2 Framework for Languages as well as on the Catherine Cheater schemes of work. Specialist and non-specialist teachers are reassured by our interactive sessions that model best practice in language teaching. Catherine can offer language-specific training in French and German, and Steve in French and Spanish.
Support for Local Authorities
Many local authorities organise their primary languages conferences, training days and workshops with Golden Daffodils. These interactive whole-day events, using the Catherine Cheater schemes of work, normally focus on one specific Year or Key Stage.
Support for secondary teachers
Our secondary programmes focus on improving learning and teaching. Steve and Catherine deliver workshops and day events for schools and local authorities. They focus on Key Stage 2 or Key
Stage 3.
